Jesus on trial before Pilate answered a question about whether or not he was a king with the following statement: “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”  Pilate’s response could have been given by many in this generation: “what is truth?”  Whether a genuine question or a flippant dismissal, Pilates next move was to turn away without an answer.  This week we gather to consider Pilate’s question “what is truth?”  What is our world currently doing with that question, and how is it answered by our God?
