Sandcastles and card houses are amusing to build, but one must keep in mind that such delicate structures have what we might describe as a “permanency issue”. The temporal and structural limitations of such constructions are fine insofar as such things go, but no one wants to think about the projects of their lives as comparably worthless. This is precisely the predicament that Jesus describes us as being in in Matthew 7 if our foundation and construction are “wrong”. Join us as we let Jesus give us directives regarding constructing something that lasts beyond even this world.
